Our own Super Hero - Billy
At the last assembly for the term the whole school celebrated Billy receiving the inaugural ASB Super Hero Award. He was also interviewed and filmed for 'The Project' which airs on TV 3. Great stuff Billy!
I sure am very proud and know that all the students in Room Kereru would be just as brave if the same thing happened to them after being part of the St John in Schools programme. I hope none of you have to go through what Billy had to but I know your family feel better knowing you have the skills to know what to do in an emergency. Well done Room Kereru! Keep up your AWESOME learning!!
Kia ora Ruma Kereru. Good job Billy. I am really proud of you for getting the superhero award. It reminds me of when one of my friends house had a fire. Maybe you could add a bit more imformation about how you saved your mum's life.

Hello Ruma Kereru. My name is Alaska. I am from Karoro school's Ruma Rima. Everyone must be very proud of Billy. That is very brave of Billy to save his mum's life. Maybe next time you could put in if Billy was panicking.
