Rippa Rugby - Paroa

In bone chilling conditions this morning the Rippa Rugby team played 4 games against other West Coast Schools. We had two brilliant wins and 2 losses. The whole team played their hearts out. Watch out for their reports of the game shortly. Here are a few photos of the action.

Go Team Kaniere!

All lined up for the first tap off in game one.

Charlotte getting set to take another rip.

George sprints down the field headed for another great try. Tom's right there to offer support.

. . . and Tom scores another try!

A tired team at the end of our four games - they deserved the rest!

Cross Country Photos

A fantastic day for our whole school cross country today! We had a great turn-out of parents and family members. Check out the great action shots that Mrs Long took at this link.

Symmetry DLOs

Over the last 2 weeks the class have been learning all about symmetry and scale factor. Check out the individual blogs as well as some that will be shared here. We hope you learn from them! Riley's presentation is very clear to follow.

Our Poetry Recordings

The class have recently learnt how to use Screencastify and have had lots of fun recording one of their favourite poems with you.

Poetry

Ruma Tahi has had a bit of fun with poetry this week and written poems based around a book called 'If' by Sarah Perry. Jimmy has made a great job of selecting and making images to match his writing. Happy reading!
