Kid's Lit Quiz 2018
Do you think you could answer 100 questions about children's authors, book characters, nursery rhymes under pressure? Well that's what Arlo, Jake, Saffron and Jessie faced today at St Patrick's School in Greymouth. The quizmaster in charge was Wayne Mills a past senior lecturer at the Faculty of Education, University of Auckland. Jake's mum, Sandra said that he kept the questions pumping along meaning the team had to really think on their feet.

Rūma Kererū
Hello and welcome to Rūma Kererū for 2018. We are a pretty cool class of 29 Year 5 and 6 students. Over the last couple of weeks we have spent time getting to know each other and learn the class routines. It was an exciting start to the school year when Cyclone Fehi meant we had to close the school! Look out for some stories about this soon. In the meantime check out the blogs to read how we follow the Kawa of Care in our class.
